Project Management and NotebookLM

One of the questions I have been asked often in the last few months is about relevant project management skills as GenAI tools become more accessible. While I think certifications are an individual decision (if not a job requirement), what is certain is the need to keep upskilling/reskilling/whatever terminology works. My perspective is that if your work includes project management, even if it isn’t your entire role, you should consider building skills in the tools being integrated into project management workflows, whether it a partial or complete integration.

A tool I’ve found to be incredibly helpful is NotebookLM, which is an “AI research tool and thinking partner that can analyze your sources, turn complexity into clarity and transform your content”. One of the best ways I learn is by sharing what I know with others, and I’ve had the chance to run over five training sessions on NotebookLM for Project Management for colleagues at CPS. This short series brings the same training to a larger audience.

  1. Contextualizing NotebookLM.

  2. Understanding the NotebookLM Project Room layout.

  3. Sources and more sources for NotebookLM.

  4. Let’s Chat with NotebookLM.

  5. Podcasts, Decks, Infographics - its a multimodal feast.
